"Windward is an action-filled multiplayer sandbox game that puts you in control of a ship sailing the high seas of a large procedurally-generated world."
Windward ($9.99)
Winward is a top-down sailing trading game. The objective of the game is to generate more money-either from from trading and completing quests, or become a pirate and between towns to buy larger and larger ships and to help a faction conquer the entire map. A combined single player with co-op elements lends itself well to this game's replayability, although the game over time becomes repetitive.

Overall, Windward is a questionable purchase. While it does have great sound and art design, as well as a solid premise the gameplay is lackluster at best. Repetitive quests and very basic trading and combat systems make up the base for all gameplay. These do not lend themselves well to the overall package, and bring down the game in several areas. With several updates to create more quest variety and bring a new innovative trading and combat mechanic, Windward could improve immensely.
