The Legend of the Pirates of the Caribbean Online is an open-world MMO based of off the movie series “Pirates of the Caribbean”. The goal of the game is to level up your pirate by unlocking more powerful weapons and equipment, as well as different types of ships. TLPOTCO was originally released in 2007 by Disney and was closed in 2013. Recently, it was revived by a group of fans and is currently available to play in a released state. While the game does have several problems, it does manage to capture the excitement and fun of the previous game. Additionally, the game is completely free, and it has been quoted by the developers that they will not add a paid bonus to the game such as membership.

 

Overall, TLPOTCO has a lot of potential. The game has great combat and and sailing mechanics, but there are several points that need to be addressed. The game’s stability, graphics, and quest layout need to become much more solid, as well as the variety of activities and the excessive grinding could be improved. If these changes were made TLPOTCO could become a much more mainstream and popular MMO like its previous counterpart was.
